Arranger + Orchestrator
Sam is starting to establish himself on the UK music scene as one of the brightest young talents in Arranging and Orchestration. No matter how big or small your project, Sam can arrange for any sized ensemble, from string quartet, to full symphony orchestra, covering a wide variety of styles and genres.
Sam’s arranging roots come from big band jazz, and commercial pop and jazz, and he has recently arranged for Ella Henderson, Universal Music and a number of notable clients.
Sam has also an extensive client list in the brass world, regularly scoring original arrangements for the likes of BoneAfide, Friary Brass Band and Connaught Brass. Sam’s varied musical background gives him the stylistic versatility to be at home in any music genre.
His arrangements have been performed in some of the UKs biggest venues, including: Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, The Sage Gateshead, Milton Court Concert Hall and the Watford Collesseum.
Sam works on Sibelius software and uses DAW software Logic Pro X for recording needs.
Copying and Music Preparation
Sam regularly works as a copyist and in the music preparation process for some of the biggest orchestras and ensembles in the world.
He is known by his clients for his reliability, punctuality and attention to detail. His services can range from transcription to formatting, copying and more. Turning round projects on short notice whilst being accessible and approachable to his clients. He can adapt to whatever the original ensemble’s copying requirements are, meeting deadlines, and providing a high-quality final product.
Sam’s current Copying clientele includes the likes of: The BBC Concert Orchestra, Callum Au, The Metropole Orkest and the Danish Radio Big Band
Music Management
Sam has been working as a freelancer in the London music scene for several years, operating in a wide variety of roles.
He began his career in music management organising his own bands events. This led to being headhunted by the Pizza Express Jazz Club to be an agent/booker. He has since put on regular nights, celebrating the best rising stars in the UK Jazz scene. He has produced events for artists including Julian Costello, Freddie Benedict, Ralph Porrett, Matt Carter, Nye Banfield, Tom Smith and Daniel Bulatkin.
Sam has also worked in artist management, music distribution and orchestra and concert management for a wide range of independent and signed artists.
He regularly works as a freelance orchestra manager and consultant for the London Mozart Players (LMP), one of London’s leading chamber orchestras. This has led to Sam running concerts in some of England’s leading concert halls, including Queen Elizabeth Hall, West Road Concert Hall and Milton Court Concert Hall.
Drums
Sam Every has been working as a drummer and percussionist across the UK for 9 years.
Over that time he has developed a hugely versatile skillset, performing with a wide variety of musicians and ensembles. His performance experience has ranged from Musical Theatre Pits, large pop gigs with the likes of American Idol semi-finalist, DeAndre, both large and small ensemble jazz including the Gareth Lockrane Big Band and the London Jazz Orchestra, and studio session work on both drum kit and pop percussion.
